Due to the closure of the West Coast Main Line between Preston and Carlisle trains were diverted across the beautiful Settle to Carlisle line. I ventured north with a few 1Z10 chums to see what shots we could grab. 

Always hopeful for a splash of snow i was chuffed to see the hill tops of Whernside , Ingleborough and Pen-y-gent were snow capped. This made a perfect backdrop for the Class 805 units used on the diversion route.
