Bosnia

Bosnia still uses steam locomotives to assemble freight trains in the Tuzla Coalfields in the South East of the country. There are 3 operational 2-10-0 German built Kriegslok dating back to 1945 as well as a handful of smaller narrow gauge shunting locomotives. Occasionally the 2-10-0s cover for unavailability of the ageing diesel locomotive fleet.

During a visit to the country i spent some time doing some low light and creative photography to capture these amazing scenes before the steam locos are withdrawn.
